Throughout a wedding day, there's always one thing or another, one moment or another that impacts you, that makes you think a little, that leads you to write something about the event, something with which you can create an analogy. On Melissa and Dominik's wedding day, we came across a wooden stepladder in her house, painted white, elegant, and adorned with decorative elements. We thought, this would be a good element for organizing all her accessories, and a good reason to write a text about the meaning it might have in their wedding:
The first step, where eyes meet and hands still tremble; the second, the soft sound of their voices, the same voice that announces promises to come; on the third, hearts hear each other, beating loudly, in vows that join like intertwined fingers; the fourth step carries the wedding ring, the symbol of eternity, gently rotating between the fingers like time, endless; and then the last step, the kiss, not an end, but the apotheosis, the moment when two become one.
And voilà!
