—Are you photogenic?

—Non saprei, Su alcune foto mi piaccio (quelle di spalle)...

—How did you get in the photography industry?

—Ho sempre amato il mondo della fotografia. Da bambino possedevo il kit completo per lo sviluppo e la stampa delle foto che scattavo al mio cane e ai miei nonni. Da oltre 15 anni è diventato il mio "pane quotidiano" . All'inizio ho collaborato con altri professionisti nel settore del wedding e da circa quattro anni lavoro per me.

—What are the most important components of a good photo in your opinion?

—Non esiste la "bella foto" in assoluto. La cosa più importante è che emozioni. E l'emozione è irrazionale. Una foto può essere tecnicamente perfetta ma non esprimerti nulla. Altre posseggono quel "nonsochè" che le rende speciali. Quando alla "bella foto" si aggiunge un'ottima luce, una buona inquadratura ed un contesto significativo si realizza "l'opera d'arte".

—Do you love traveling?

—Sì molto. Mi piace stare immerso nella natura, sia al mare che in montagna.

—What do you like most about your profession?

—Conoscere nuove persone e condividere dei momenti importanti della loro vita.

—What do you like least about your profession?

—La cattiveria e l'invidia.

—What will be the future of photography?

—Temo che i fotografi matrimonialisti spariranno.

—What is special in the photography genre you specialise at?

—In ogni matrimonio ci sono degli istanti particolarissimi, irripetibili. Non puoi perderli, al contrario devi riuscire a catturarli, valorizzandoli al massimo.

—How do you handle criticism?

—Dipende dalla fonte: se è costruttiva aiuta a crescere ed è sempre ben accetta.

—Are there any trends in photography?

—Io sono un fotografo italiano e devo ammettere che molti dei nostri creativi "fanno scuola" al mondo intero. Non si finisce mai di imparare, di studiare, di ricercare soprattutto in questo settore che è in continua evoluzione sia tecnica che artistica.

—What should be the criteria for a customer to choose a photographer?

—Il lato umano. Ci si deve piacere reciprocamente. Dopo viene la foto.

—What things are to be avoided when shooting?

—E' ammesso tutto purchè si rispettino dignità e decenza.

—What details that usually pass unnoticed can a photographer notice?

—Tutto ciò che vede e cattura il fotografo di matrimonio, diventa "lo stile" proprio del fotografo.

—What influences the value of a photo? What are its elements?

—Luce, contesto, momento, inquadratura e post-produzione.

—What person can be the symbol of the 21st century in your opinion?

—Steeve Jobs

—Who do you want to shoot?

—Le auto da corsa, per un momento della mia vita ho fotografato un mio caro amico in formula 1, non ho mollato i matrimoni e colto l'attimo...

—No

—What do you worry about, and why?

—Il nostro lavoro poichè con l'avvento del digitale sono in molti ad improvvisarsi fotografi.

—What is the most impressive moment in your life?

—La morte di mia madre.

—If you were a cartoon, book or movie character, who would you be and why?

—Tintin, per le sue avventure fantastiche e per il suo cane Milù ( simile al mio Pepe)

—Who inspires you in your life and why?

—La mia compagna. Insegnante, mi ha fatto crescere e ricredere sulle mie potenzialità, spronandomi nell'osare.

—How do you define success? How do you measure it?

—Il successo è un insieme di cose, parte da un benessere materiale che garantisca una vita tranquilla ma non prescinde dall'intima soddisfazione di aver fatto qualcosa di "buono" ogni giorno. Si misura dalla qualità del sonno.

—Would you rather be liked or respected?

—Il rispetto è alla base dell'Amore.

—What is the biggest mistake you have ever made at work?

—Quello di non seguire le mie intuizioni e non soddisfare il mio gusto.

—When you're going to travel, what do you take with you and why?

—Un paio di mutande in più...perchè non si sa mai.

—Is there anything that you wish you hadn't bought among the gadgets that you own? Why?

—Si tutti...li ho venduti. Erano inutili.

—How do you educate yourself to take better pictures?

—Sperimento molto sul campo, provando nuove ottiche. Seguo sul web alcuni fotografi che mi piacciono molto.

—Andrea Corsi

—What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?

—Vedere la mia ultima fotografia.

—What do you want to say with your photographs?

—Preferisco "suggerire" non dire.

—What motivates you to continue taking pictures?

—Mi piace quello che faccio.

—Should your parents have been more or less strict?

—No, sono stati giusti.

—If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?

—Avrei investito soldi in maniera diversa.

—What about life on other planets?

—Spero di fotografarla presto.

—Who are your heroes?

—Gli eroi non esistono. Chi sorride ogni giorno in mezzo alle difficoltà è un eroe.

—Who do you have no respect for?

—Per chi fa soffrire i bambini e gli animali.

—What do you do in your spare time?

—Appena ho un briciolo di tempo mi piace fare delle lunghe camminate nei boschi dei Castelli Romani, andare a pesca, scappare per pochi giorni e scoprire paesini sconosciuti.

—What's the side of you that the public never sees?

—I problemi e le preoccupazioni personali vanno tenuti fuori dal lavoro.

—When are you completely satisfied with your work?

—Quando consegno il servizio che piace sia a me che alle coppie.

—No.

—Si.

—Al mare.

—Dare un passaggio.

—Esiste la vita solo dopo il matrimonio.

—Gioco, scherzo e rido con tutti, non ne ho uno preferito.

—Li adoro.

—L'ignoranza e la cattiveria.

—L'amicizia.

—Le persone che ti remano contro.

—Tutto quello che non funziona ed è ingiusto. Ci vorrebbe un libro per elencarli tutti.

—Sono cambiato, ora mi piaccio così.

—Meno armi e più aiuti per le popolazioni in difficoltà.

—Li aiuterei ad investire in altro settore.
